The ancient Roman glassworkers pioneered the use of an optic mold to create intricate textures and designs on glass, a technique that later flourished in Venice during the Middle Ages. Our Breton Chandelier features a hand-blown round diffuser that envelopes a glass bulb, using the same traditional optic method. The exterior is crystal clear, while the bulb-facing side showcases a wavy horizontal pattern, reminiscent of the beloved Depression glass.
